Agriculture & Agri Food Critic

In November 2015 Chris was named to the shadow cabinet as Critic for Agriculture & Agri Food.

Chris returned to Ottawa in an exciting new role in September 2016. In addition to his regular duties, he was asked by Rona Ambrose to become Deputy House Leader and take a leading role in determining the everyday direction and strategic messaging of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition.
A key part of Chris’s new role will be captaining the Conservative team in Question Period and working with each critic to ensure that the issues that matter to Canadians are heard loud and clear.
