TRUDEAU RECKLESSLY BLOWS BUDGET LIMITS AND LEAVES GOVERNMENT IN CHOAS.
Today, mere hours before Trudeau’s former Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland was to deliver a Fall Economic Statement that was expected to smash through her already massive deficit targets, she announced she no longer has confidence in the Prime Minister. After a day of chaos in the House, Trudeau proceeded with releasing the statement. The result was nothing short of shocking.
The statement confirmed that his government has not only failed to meet its own financial guardrails but has blown past them entirely.
Last spring, Freeland announced a reckless $40 billion deficit, leaving Canadians anxious. The Prime Minister, with the help and instigation of Carbon Tax Carney, pushed Freeland to bring on massive, unsustainable, irresponsible spending increases that blew through her self-imposed guardrail.
Today, the Fall Economic Statement revealed that Trudeau’s deficit has soared far beyond that mark, reaching a shocking $61.9 billion.
Chris Warkentin, Member of Parliament for Grande Prairie – Mackenzie responded to the statement, “The number is shocking. Out-of-control spending has doubled our national debt, boosted interest rates, and threatened our social programs. This Liberal government under Justin Trudeau is absolute chaos.”
Justin Trudeau has lost control, clings to power and is propped up by only one man: Jagmeet Singh.
A fifth of Liberal MPs have written a letter for Trudeau to resign. His Deputy Prime Minister has walked out on him. His housing minister has quit. 80 percent of Canadians have lost confidence in this Prime Minister.
It’s time for a Carbon Tax Election and put Canada’s future back into hands of the people. Let’s bring it home.
